Hey look I'm undyrus trash. I bet 85% of the fandom is gonna be at my throat because I'm "homophobic" or so they say without even thinking. Well I don't care what they think since I will go down with this ship and no Canon child is gonna shove Alphyne down my throat.I do not hate Alphdyne, I just don't like how they....just got together. When I played the pacifist run, my reaction to this was "Well this is out of nowhere" and not "Omg! SO cute! OTP <3" Β I'm sorry but it just felt rushed to me. It's not that this ship is lesbian and I hate lesbians(I don't hate lesbians, I legit rp with a person on Roblox named SnappleTheWarriorCat as a lesbian couple rp AND the fact that I'm Pansexual, meaning I would disrespect my OWN sexuality so that just debunks your assumption of me being homophobic), it's just that the development between those two just....didn't stick to me.Β
As for Undyrus, well I think that many can agree that these two are very close and interact a LOT more than Alphys and Undyne. Papyrus sometimes gave me the suspicion that he liked her, but it was one-sided due to Alphdyne existing. He mentions Undyne often in Snowdin, if you have a date with him and didn't kill him, then he'll both try to help you AND Undyne. On Undyne's date, she gives off compliments about Papyrus, but she can't allow Papyrus to enter the royal guard since she is worried about his survival if he fought alongside her in a war against humans. The phonecalls about them are also very interesting points about why I ship them.
Okay enough of ranting. I will go down with this ship and ain't no one gonna stop me from shipping it!

Sorry if I sound rude, but I don't appreciate it when people say things such as "Undyne is with Alphys" or "But Undyne is a lesbian"(even though she could be Panromantic for all we know) as AUs exist.

Technically Alphyne isn't a ship. Ship is a "what if" situation, a "they are canon" means that it's a Pairing. You can call Alphyne your OTP, but you technically can't ship it.Β
I also have the ultimate weapon against haters when they call me a homophobe, make them look like hypocrites by showing a video on sexualities and romantics and say "Okay so you can prove the possibility of Undyne being a lesbian, but can you prove that she's homoromantic?" Which is impossible to prove for reasons of "even the person itself might not be sure" or "such proof is just assumption. Assumption=\=fact)" which actually made some people shut up about.
Whaddya think of that? That can probably destroy this descrimination between minority ships easily.Β

I have three reasons as to why I don't ship Alphys x Undyne:
1. Female x female ships usually don't appeal to me.
2. Their personalities contrast too much to be in a romantic relation ship.
3. The fan art... UGHHH!!! So much cringe!!

Otherwise, In my AU, Sans and Alphys were dating when Gaster was still alive. Then Sans fled after Gaster was erased from existence. Alphys had other love interests when they re-meet. Well Undyne just mentions Papyrus after Pap shows up at her house to ask to be in the royal guard.Β

I agree; Alphyne just seemed... forced.Β I really like them as close friends, though; Undyne does genuinely care about Alphys and likes how passionate she is, and is concerned for her well-being given her frame of mind when the fish woman first found her (and I've noticed some people seem to have overlooked the fact that Undyne is, surprisingly, actually very shy when it comes to relationships.Β There's evidence aplenty that she's not a "huntress" in the field of love.Β Not sure if that really applies to this situation, it's just something I've noticed about her and I wanted to share it).Β And poor Alphys is looking for acceptance and validation from anyone; goodness knows the poor girl needs it.Β Really, their relationship works as a friendship, and I'm fine just seeing it as such.
Now the funny thing is that I wanted to ship Undyrus when I was first playing the game, but still ended up falling back on the "really close friends" argument with them the more I played.Β That being said, seeing the ship still puts a smile on my face ^_^ Not sure why, it just does :3 The two really do have great chemistry together no matter what their relationship status.

That all being said, the only thing I could really comment on here is that if I was in Undyne's position, I'd be disappointed that my love interest doesn't have a heartbeat to listen to XD But who knows?Β Maybe skeleton monsters have something similar to that?Β Maybe their souls replace that?Β I dunno; mostly just speculation.Β Still... cute!

You are completely correct with your point of view on Alphdyne and Undyrus. I personally don't care if it's not Canon, otherwise, why would I ship it if it wasn't canon?
Actually, in my view of Skeletons, their organs are made of magic, so they look invisible and aren't touchable, yet they still do the same as normal organs (ex: the muscles and nerves that normally would require a skeleton to walk would be made of magic, thus making them seem like they are breaking skeleton physics) of course, certain magic is more concentrated and can become physical such as the eyes abe certain other places. So Undyne would hear some sort of heartbeat but it would be invisibleΒ

I would probably cuddle with most characters with the exception of Flowey(I couldn't hug a flower, I tried) and Asgore(I personally dislike him. I usually name him Assgore, no offence if you like him).
Back onto Undyrus, me and my sis had an idea to cosplay as Papyrus and Undyne for a party with the theme "Heroes and villains" I'm actually hyped for it.
