Uh, not to burst any bubbles so to speak. But isn't the literal meaning of a sub-machine gun an automatic weapon that fires handgun cartridges? these bullets are clearly too long to classify the weapon as an SMG. So really it's a heavily modified MP5 converted to be a carbine with a UMP's stock? Not to be rude or anything.

yeah i started out designing a sub machine gun, but i ended with a sub carbine. i do need to update a lot of my stuff.

hmm some SMG's can use .45 cals, with very controlable recoil.

true, and since the .45 is such an impressive round i thought "maybe something a bit bigger would be better." though i haven't decided what caliber it should be officially.
but it is awesome!
