I'm assuming the typo's been caught sometime in the past 6 years :-p.Β Β
Regardless, it's a... "charming"... comic :-p <3.Β Β

Nice and devious, but I especially like the facial expression.

Powergirl shackled and chained might well be the sexiest thing on (or off) the planet! Only thing sexier could be PG shackled AND gagged! Great comic

Have you ever drawn any Empowered, or is that a bit too on the nose?

I've only drawn one homage to Β 's Empowered and you can find it here:Β bikerbloke.deviantart.com/art/β¦
I also copied a meme a couple of years ago and drew Ashley in the various ways and included a drawing done in the style of Mr Warren's workΒ bikerbloke.deviantart.com/art/β¦ At the time I was busy reading his Empowered comic books and was heavily influenced by his style. I bought all 7 of them at the time and I have vol 8 sitting in the UK for collection next month when I visit. Highly recommend them too, great story and deep too.
Now I'm wondering if you mean empowered, as in the characters are empowered and win? If so then yes, sorta See ThongGirl's first day (in my gallery) when she delivered a crushing kick to Evil Biker's pride.

What I love about this one is her hair and the shading. You really get a sense her hair could fall down in her face and it has a lot of 'body' to it. Plus, the shading around her breasts, face and cape gives it a definite 3D hit. Always been a fan of pencils for what they capture and this is why!

Hey biker, quick question: how long does it take you to draw the average damsel in distress drawing?

I'll be honest with you - Some days are better than others and the drawing flows out of my pencil like it's doing the work and I'm along for the ride, other days can be a struggle. But I'd say the average drawing takes me about an hour to do at the most, then after I've scanned it I can spend another 30mins or so tweaking it in Photoshop adding the speech bubbles, text and erasing any mistakes. I tweak the contrast and darken shaded areas as well to make them stand out a bit more.
Hope this answers your question. Thanks for asking.

I've been drawing these type of pin-ups and putting them online since '97 so I'm pretty used to the technique now. As I said though, that average sometimes they can take a LOT longer to do. The beauty of it is it's never a chore for me to draw, I actually enjoy it so whatever time it takes is what it is. Hope you get my meaning there.

Is that a correction of the apparent typo in the wording on the picture? If so the "stay tooned" comment was deliberate. It's a play on words, using an abbreviation of cartoon... Β meaning "Stay cartooned."
Yeah, I know, a bit tenuous but there it is.

Hadn't even noticed the "tooned" part, just the out-of place past-tense, myself XD.Β Β

Go to my gallery, find the sub-gallery titled Film & Comic characters, open that and in there you'll find another sub-gallery titled The Key. You'll find the first 10 drawings of this story in there. More to follow over the next few days/weeks
