Me: Okay, so I asked Pine Tree and Shooting Star to answer questions with me... and by "asked" I mean "demanded".Dipper: He's forcing us to do this.
Mabel: He's a jerk.
Me: We're also going to take dares!
Dipper: Wait, what?!

I'm not sure about this one. It's very possible that he might be subconsciously influencing all of his fans... sort of like hypnosis, I guess. Knowing Bill, I can honestly say that I know he doesn't really care that so many fangirls are crushing on him. He just uses them for power. Fangirls typically draw his image in fanart, and these images act as peepholes into our dimension. The more he sees, the more he knows, and more knowledge leads to more power.
He doesn't usually meddle with human emotions of affection.
