Now, if you can tell me who's on the trading card on the right side of my Wacom tablet I'll be really impressed. Did you notice my Descendents bonus cup on the table to the right. It's one of my prize possessions.

I just noticed the mug, that's awesome! I can't quite make out the trading card.
It looks vaguely familiar but I can't put my finger on it but is that Inglorious Basterds? I think I'm going to take a picture of my workspace too, only it won't be as interesting.

That was kind of a joke. I didn't think there was anyway you would know that is a pornstar trading card of a chick named Friday. For some reason I can't disable that side of the touch pad so the card is taped there so my hand wont rub against it.
I always dig seeing pictures work spaces. It can be a interesting insight to how someone works.
Thats Inglorious Basterds. Sometimes putting on a movie can be motivating for me but most of the time it's too much of a distraction.

It seemed familiar because I've had a few pornstar trading cards. Well, I'd steal them from my step-dad anyway.
That's the only thing I don't like about my tablet but I can turn mine off.
I've been using Scott Pilgrim as background noise lately. I must have "watched" this thing a billion times.

Scott Pilgrim has been my go to lately. Also I work well with Ponyo on. The volume down. A pot of coffee and some Soulfly cranking!

Right now it's between Scott Pilgrim and Kick-Ass. I'll throw in Zombieland once in a while too. I've only heard the first Soulfly. Have you heard the Cavalera Conspiracy? It's good to hear Max and Igor jamming again

All good choices.
I've followed Max through all his projects since early Sepultura. He's one of the few artists that never let me down.

I have some Nailbomb around here somewhere!

I have the Nailbomb album and the live one too. The other guy in Nailbomb was Alex Newport. I saw his band Fudge Tunnel open for Sepultura in Baltimore in 94. They played with Clutch and Fear Factory.

I loved the Nailbomb albums but I've never heard Fudge Tunnel.
I saw Clutch with Neurosis and Pantera. The second time I saw Pantera they had Coal Chamber open. I'm not sure what you think of their music but their stage performance was really bad. It was Coal Chamber, Anthrax!, and Pantera. I really could've done without Coal Chamber.

I don't really like Fudge Tunnel, Fear Factory or Coal Chamber. I love Neurosis! I was at a Rancid show at the Black Cat in DC when I found out at the last miniute that Neurosis was playing at the 9:30 Club. We left the Rancid show, went to see Neurosis and made it back in time to see Rancid. This was when Neurosis was in there prime and before Rancid turned down a major label deal to show they were not sellouts and then soldout with "..and out come the wolves". When Rancid was on SNL and Lars had an outfit change between songs. That was lame. I do think "Let's Go" is a great punk album though.
I saw Sepultura many times. the best line-ups were (1)Sepultura, Pantera and Biohazard and (2)Sepultura, Sacred Reich, Sick of it All and Napalm Death.

Neurosis had a great stage show. My buddy Gabe spit on Lars once. I guess he asked my friend and his buddies to stop drinking.
One of my favorite line-ups had to have been REO Speedealer, Misfits, and Gwar
I did see NoFX with Youth Brigade on my prom night! That was sweet.
I ended up playing a show with Youth Brigade too, they're really cool guys

Lars is on "Let's Go" but when he started writing and singing more it sapped the life from the band. Matt Freeman's once driving bass seemed to fade into the background. Can you tell I'm still bitter? The biggest insult about "..And out come the wolves" is that pose on the cover. Is that an hommage to Minor Threat?
The only time I saw NoFX the Lunachicks opened up. It was a great show.
I saw The Dwarves at the Troubadour one time. Do you know of them? The're one of my favorite live bands. It's the only west coast show I ever saw.

Rob from Total Chaos was going on about Rancid. I guess he was a bit upset with them. That guy loves to talk. Man, I LOVE the Dwarves. I wasn't so happy about the last two albums or so.
Lunachicks are rad! I even liked Theo's sort of POP group

The last couple records were all over the place but I think they get better with every album. It's the strong production. I'm bias though. I know Blag. I did some pencil art for him for one of his book projects.
The Lunachicks albums are hit or miss but they were great live.

That's awesome. I almost picked up some Dwarves bobbleheads! I don't think the store has them anymore.
To be honest I didn't like Come Clean album when it came out but then after listening to it a few times I loved it. I haven't had a chance to see them live but I have a feeling it would be intense.
I love the Dwarves version of the AC/DC song "Big Balls". They were on the Queers tribute album too and speaking of which the Queers have a new album out too. I've only heard bits and pieces but it sound pretty good

I did'nt know about the Queers tribute song. I'll have to track that down.
Did the HeWhoCannotBeNamed bobblehead have pants on or was his junk hanging out?

If I remember correctly he had his mask and I believe he was wearing a jock strap.
If you're interested the album is called "God Save the Queers".
Their last album sounded more like the beach boys and really didn't have any kind of punk qualities. I guess Joe wanted to show off his song writing ability. The new one sounds punk

Damn! You've got a good eye. That's an awesome pic of her. That's one of the pictures on that wall that's hasn't been covered by a pin-up, post-it or photo ref since the photo was taken. I can't bring myself to cover that one.

Nice work. I noticed your deviation lightbox. If you look at my workspace photo, the entire table surface is a celing fixture turned upside down with a piece of tracing paper under a sheet of plexi-glass. It has four bulbs and has worked great for years. The monitors get a bit washed out when using it though.
