I know what you mean, I still have both versions installed, because I can't use the new IPO system at all. I did this to try out the texture painting tools.

I think the central design is awesome. The parts im not so fond of are the 2 side wings. The front design is very unique and extremely good. I think the back should have a little more thought put into it and your design would be flawless.

The modular weapon idea, I like. Seeing as they never specified on race. If they made it this way, it would be friendly on training. Have it so you can use whatever race of frigate? training, and whatever turrets you want.

For the record, I've never played the game. I know nothing about it, besides the chart they supplied showing the profiles of the ships in relative scale. I was thinking of it as merely, "alien."

Yeah this contest was hard for outsiders, all ships in eve online are human designed and built, even the jovian the most alien of the bunch are still 'human' if the term still applied. I wished they linked more videos however that would have made it easier for outsiders to get a feel for the game.

Though I wish more people were submitting Gallente-inspired ships, I think that the Gallente ships are by far the coolest looking.

hey so how is the beta for blender? are there many bugs? i wanted to download it but i dont know if i should wait or the next stable version. and i cant download 2.49 cuz i have 64 bit windows. they dont have the launcher i think

I though they said only line drawings no colors, but can have a 7th perspective that is fully rendered.
"The six views should be clean, uncolored line drawings / renderings. If you’d like, you can include a fully rendered view (a seventh view) of the starship in the entry as well. "

I don't know if it will win ,But I like it and wish you luck as I've seen so many 'borrowed' base designs for this contest its nice to see something unique. and not derivative.
