Alright, someone tell me where I can put robots, because they don't deserve to be lumped under "misc". Robots are sci-fi, fantasy, and otherwise.Anyway, he's a gentle robot. I was thinking of my friend whom I'm very fond of when painting this – although we're continents apart, we still have a lot that brings us together. I guess this is dedicated to him. I'm aware the butterfly doesn't really fit in with the rest of the style, but I like it anyway, kind of a stark contrast to the fuzzy and soft lines the rest of it has. Robot=hard, butterfly=soft, it's just a reversal. Boy this song I'm listening sucks hardcore. Wendy Rule is AWFUL. ok.

Speaking of songs, I happened to be listening to "Aching To Pupate" by Regina Spektor while viewing this painting. So that's kinda funny/weird/whatever. This is all besides the point, however, as I gotta tell ya, this is a great painting. It's very sweet and inspires happy feelings. Great, great job.
