They never came with inline 8's, just inline 6's and V8's, and I discovered one with a 3.8 V6 once... but it was an F100.

I like these old Fords a lot, I've had 16 of them so far, my favourites being an 82 F150 regular cab long box and a 1980 regular cab short box step side!

i swear this one has an inline 8! i shall get a picture of it the next time i am in iowa as every time i visit, it is my baby to work on and play with...

in-line 8 is rock SOLID, but the frame has cancer rust

they swear it is a 1982. i think it is not as the town it was purchased/titled in is SMALL... i am going to get the VIN number and try to determine the exact year...

hell, for all i know my mother-in-law's family could have overhauled the engine... 4 speed... never use 1st gear unless i'm pulling something.... OHHHH, how I love it. they have left it to me in their will.

Inline 8's were not offered by Ford ever, Buick had them till the late 40's, as did Packard, and other big high dollar cars of that era...

To determine the year of manufacture, check the Vin #, the 10th digit is the year (A=1980, B=81, C=82, D=83, E=84, F=85, G=86, H=87, J=88, K=89, L=90, M=91, N=92, P=93, R=94, S=95, T=96, V=97, W=98, X=99) and if you check on the drivers door post there is a sticker with the GVRW and specs, it will have a date of manufacter there too, depending on the month you can figure out if it was a model year ahead of the build year, usually if it was built after july it will be the next years model because the year is half over, the 8th digit is the engine, the first is the country of origin (#1= USA, 2= Canada, 3= Mexico ect.) I suspect that the engine is the 300cu in six that Ford had, they were nearly indestructable and had great power and torque!

Something I love about these Ford trucks built from 1980-86, if you want to have a factory acessory put in that the truck never had, like the clock, Tacometer, power windows and locks, roof lights ect, the truck is all pre-wired for them, and it's quite easy to converty them, I took my 82 that had no clock, tach, roof lights or power anything, and put all of it in, the hardest part was the power windows, but it was still a breese! if you ever have any questions about that sort of thing feel free to ask me, I've done everything to my old truck in the last 10 years!

Sank U Vewee much! I love your "tag line". I think mine should be:

"I am a lesbian stuck in a man's body that has to have pills as to battle the uncontrollable chemical reactions with which doctors are so apt to tape labels on me for having such genetic dispositions that affect the variations within my senses."

being a dude sucks... hormonally and in every way... faster sex, male mood swings (MMS), etc. but ah, women rock... that is all i can say. i was not being sarcastic. i can get into more detail, but all men are lesbians... and freaks of nature.

well...
fast sex can always be remedeed...
and male mood swings? never heard of :S
is it anything against PMS? or PMD... dont know what it's called in english... Period mood swings haha

i really dont like women much. as a physic creature, yes. they have beautiful bodies, and the fact that they are the vessel for new life.. wow
male bodies are just as beautiful to me, and i always gotten along better with men.
women can be so manipulative, they tend to look upon other women with jealosy and just being able of more black mouthing.
of course, men are doing this too. but not in the same scale i think.
the one thing (very big thingk though) is that it's getting more and more hard to be friends with guys without them looking at me with sexual intent... it's very dull, and provocative, and hurtful even. i want to be seen as a person, an intellegent and funny person, but they tend to look more to my breasts than my mind.

other than that, i truly prefer men to women. easier to hang out with, more in common.
although i have some real friends now amongst women, and i really feel close to them.

how is it that all men are lesbians?? very curious
freaks of nature... hm. please explain that too ^^

Ha! Sorry for the long wait, luv! I have a new job (FINALLY) and it has consumed much of my time.

Male Mood Swings, or MMS, is something I invented. I am Bi-Polar, but who is not? I watched many of my male friends "go crazy" for no reason and then their lovers would ask me for help. I had to explain: "Men, like women, have mood swings. It is not like PMS... because we feel that we can change our moods anytime we want and we can't control it sometimes."

You said it perfectly: women are beautiful works of art. Being a "male", I can say that I almost envy the beauty of any woman with or without a face. Without a face though, the art is incomplete. I love the face: eyes, etc. Men have harsh lines, are hairy, and nasty things. I have always gotten along with women. When my wife was in college she had 3 female roommates and a WHOLE GROUP of female friends. I was always "the one guy" in the crowd, party, etc. I'm comfortable with who I am as a man, so there was never any issues. Sure, sensuality and sex may be "in the air", but I love my wife and would never do anything like that. I was the "guy" that my wife's friends would come to for advice. In fact, I am still the guy that my wife's female friends ask: "Jesse, will you come with us tonight and tell me what you think of my new boyfriend?" I promise you that my judgments on other males came true. "This one is an asshole with a temper problem that will show up one day." "This one is a good guy, but he has emotional needs you cannot fill", etc. Everytime... I was right. Maybe it is a curse? When I was younger, yeah, I had female friends because I was attracted to them, but knew a relationship would never work. Now that I am older it is not like that. I appreciate my female friends and my wifes friends for who they are and who they are not.

Hell, when the music comes on I am the first guy to dance with all the ladies! Why? It is FUN! I love to watch other guys standing outside the "dance circle". My wife and I dancing with whoever, staring back at their companions who are holding a beer and mashing their teeth. It is nothing sexual, it is just damn good fun.

As for women and men, YES, women play fucking MIND GAMES and are GOOD AT IT! Men just piss around each other to mark their territory. Again, men are hairy, nasty things. Give them a hole and most guys will try to fuck it. Men can't see the woman for the vagina (90% of men, at least). Lust, love, sex, etc are tricky things. My wife and I will walk in a mall and I will notice a good looking woman wearing a nice outfit. Sure, my eyes are enjoying it, but I tell my wife: "See that girl -- I think you would look great in an outfit that is similar." I look at other women as blueprints and art (if I do not know them). If a woman looks good in a particular piece of clothing, I know my wife would look better and she can add her style to it. She does the same: "See that guy?" "The hot one?" "Yes, in the jacket. You should get a jacket similar to that with some nice jeans... you'd look hot!" It does not mean we are looking to "bang" someone, we are just looking at art and how it can be applied to ourselves to look/feel more attractive for each other.

Unfortunately, for your situation I have no advice. I can only say that because you are a woman you are a man's object of desire. How can you deal with that? Tell them: "Quit listening to my breasts and listen to ME!" If they don't, tell them to fuck off!

Men are lesbians. Ha! It is yet another joke of mine. Men who sleep with women have the same "problem" as lesbians... they like other women! I am a lesbian, technically, because I only prefer women (my wife, of course) to men I know - stupid joke.

Men are freaks of nature. Here is what I have studied and found. Women are women because the have the XX chromosome. They say men have the XY chromosome. If you look at the "Y" chromosome you will notice it is NOT a true Y. It looks more like X with one leg chopped off. That means we are missing 1/4th of an X. (Hope I have not lost you yet). When a baby is conceived, they sit in the womb with no gender for the first stages of life. They have gonads... in the abdomen. At a specific point in time, estrogen or testosterone is LITERALLY soaked into the brain and body. For boys (XY), this means the testosterone literally "tears apart" some of the early synaptic connections in the brain. In that same moment, the gonads "drop" down and become testicles. For females, this means the gonads stay in place and become ovaries. The estrogen does not affect the tiny brain.

Finally, here is the big thing that means men are missing 1/4th of "something" because they are XY (remember, Y is X with a leg chopped off). 1 X means that each eye has a cone to see shades of red, yellow, and orange. Since women are XX, they can see more shades/colours that have (or are) red, yellow, and orange. Men cannot see as many shades/colours of red, yellow, and orange. This is why a woman says "Antique White" and a man says "IT is just WHITE!" So, if we are missing a set of cones in our eyes because our chromosomes are XY, what else are we missing.....? I can say we are missing a lot: "mother instinct", ways to express emotion, and so on....

So boys, in the womb, are literally mutants... meant to be female, but not. They say there is a "Battle of the sexes" when really, we are two groups: normal and fucked up.

Talk to you soon!

AufW und gutes nacht!

no worries! it is just one of those darned one-hit-wonder songs that supposedly "represents a generation" (ie, Buddy Holly, Richie Valence, and The Big Bopper dying).

Now, you could play "The Seeker" by The Who!
