This is his description of the planet:

Planet (Filonesia)
Planet type: silicon, terrestrial
mean radius: 7374.2km
Surface: tectonically active, mostly covered in water (+80%), polar icecaps.
Landmasses: Few large landmasses, none larger than Australia, many smaller islands and archipelagos ranging from <10km sq to the size of Borneo.
Atmosphere: Much like Earth's composition but denser, more humid.
biosphere: coral reefs, jungles, woodlands, grasslands. blue chlorophyll.
Satellites: 2

Moon 1
type: silicon, terrestrial
Mean Radius: 3757.9km
Orbital Radius: 52144.5km
Surface: Tectonically active, around 60% water, small polar icecaps.
Landmasses: 2 supercontinents, some large islands
Atmosphere: Similar composition to Earth's, drier, thinner but still
breathable.
Biosphere: Mostly desert, vegetation mainly found around coastlines and rivers

Moon 2
type: silicon, terrestrial
mean radius: 6247.6km
orbital Radius: 160631km
Surface: Tectonically active, around 70% covered in water, polar icecaps.
Landmasses: several large and small continents, many island chains
Atmosphere: almost identical to Earth's.
Biosphere: woodlands, jungles, alpine forests, deserts, grasslands, coral reefs.

So in summary, Filonesia is a super-Earth and tropical paradise (hooray!), moon 1 is like a 'green Mars', and moon 2 is pretty much an Earth analog, somewhat smaller. The parent star is virtually identical to the Sun.

oh and a holiday cruise ship heading towards the system would be nice, if you have a ship like that.

Theres the science, now for the fiction:

Filonesia is a large world inhabited by a shape-shifting indigeonous species and Filipino & SEA union colonists (hence the name, a portmanteau of Philippines and Indonesia). Despite being capable of interstellar travel, the civilisation is largely undeveloped. Agriculture, fishing and tourism are the primary industries in most nations, though a few cities are fully modernised.
The indigenous inhabitants continue to live in the traditional lifestyle of small villages supported by farming, but have no problem with living in the new cities of the colonists.
The two moons are held sacred and have no Filonesian colonies on them, but feel free to place a USSA colony on either of the moons as a gesture of goodwill : P (the bigger one is more earthy).

I really enjoyed making this planet system and to run along with Conf0rmist's suggestion, the largerst moon has a substancial USSA(United States of South America) colony.
