Description
This is a shot from a performance exhibited at 'Decoy' (exhibtion held at MetroArts Gallery, Brisbane, Australia). The performance lasted two hours, and dealt with issues of body image, control/release mechanisms, endurance and abjection.Related content

This is beautiful, attacking your feelings of vanity and self control. You see this girl is sad and upset for some reason or another, but you know your focusing on the fact that she is un-attractive and naked in what looks to be a very small bathroom doing something that most attractive girls probably wouldnt have to. This picture makes you feel sad because if you saw this person in the mall you wouldnt look twice but she is exposed and is conveying such a tragic emotion that you do feel bad for not caring for her. This is great and I love it.

this is probably the most disgusting thing i've seen on here yet, and i like it. i feel so sick now though, not because the woman on here isnt what everyone else in the world is aiming for but because, i dotn really know. i feel like an asshole now. whatever meaning this has has really somehow gotten to me but i still don't fully understand, its just sad that some people would let how they look affect how they feel i guess.

this photograph has such depth of emotion. i wish i could have seen that performance ... i'm sure it gave a lot to think about.
oh, and i don't care what some morons say here -- the human body as it truly is, with curves and bulges and so-called 'imperfections', is beautiful. always has been, always will be.

I get a feeling of deep sadness and lonliness. Of being left out, left in a corner to die. All is not right in this world. Used and abused. This is very emotional. I feel empathic. Excellent work!
