That's a very good point: probably he feels attracted to younger women, daughters of people who he already knows, giving him a sense of familiarity? Or perhaps some of them give him a sense of comfort?

Well, he did know who Conina's father was from the beginning, but he didn't find out that the other two were Twoflower's daughters until over half way through the book. He certainly noticed Lotus Blossom's attractiveness before that point.
