These women need REAL role models, like Bella from "Twilight"! All these ones are either jerks or shafted by everyone else, even if they're the main character. But Bella is the main character who is the strongest person ever. So what if she throws herself into danger, hoping that one of two boys will save her, has no personality or dreams for the future, and is willing to bend over and do whatever her boyfriend wants her to do.
