Its been quite a while since ive posted any of my Mountain Dew gals, i think over a year now! This ones been sitting in my computer for months, waiting on me to finish
Normally i only do one character holding a bottle of Mountain Dew, but there are so many varieties of Gamer Fuel, i couldnt do just one. It took a while to narrow it down to just three, finally settling on the red, green, and yellow ones. And it seemed more fitting for them to be holding game controllers than bottles of soda lol
It took a while to work on the picture, mainly cuz it was so big. I honestly should have done each character separately, then added them together at the end, but no, dumb ass me decided to do them all together in one picture. I guess depending on the art program, that may not be an issue, but it is while using GIMP. GIMP gets very glitchy on my computer if a picture is very big or has a lo t of layers. For just the lineart and color, i had 30 layers, thats a lot for one of my pictures. I made like 3 different backups of this picture, just in case GIMP crashed on me and i lost my progress, thats happened quite a lot honestly.
But overall, im happy with the outcome of this picture
I plan on eventually recoloring my three oldest Mountain Dew gals. I still really like them, but they were also done like 5 years ago or so, so its about time to update them with my improved coloring skills.
