Finally! Ive been wanting to draw a picture of these two for a while now. I really like how it turned out considering ive never been very good at drawing Magnadramon, and i really couldnt find a decent reference for Ophanimon, so im sure i didnt get all her details right. But still was tons of fun to work on it.
Mostly what made me want to draw this is a Digimon group on Facebook. Theres always the argument about which of these two is the better mega form for Gatomon. And theres this one dude in the group that is so set on Ophanimon that all he does is insult Magnadramon. He wont even call her by her name, he just refers to her as "the stupid pink dragon". Pisses me off really. Personally tho, i really like both of them. It does seem that Ophanimon is the more appropriate choice as Gatomon's mega form since her next for is also an angel, but Magnadramon is still really cool. Ive always liked her, ever since the first time i saw a picture of her!
Well, the latest set of episodes for Digimon Adventure Tri comes out tomorrow, i think. We will all finally find out which will be Gatomon's official mega form. I know in the previews, they show the dark version of Ophanimon, but that doesnt entirely mean that thats her final form (altho its a most likely).
