Are you familiar with Nitronians, the moc style invented by DawnofNSSD? If so that is what Ignitron is. The key point of a Nitronian is its head or rather its helmet. It is composed of two bionicle/technic hands sandwiching (for lack of a better word) those wierd pieces that are hard to describe (they're like a triangle with half-peg docks in the corners and a horizontal axle mount in the middle). The wierd piece resembles a lens or glass pieces you would look through on a helmet... I see where you're coming from with the difficulty to see it but it is in fact there.

i would agree that it would look better thicker but i know how hard it is to "thicken" something like that so dont feel the need to change it!
and i might add that the legs look.... transformer ish...... lol! pretty cool!
