Description
The 1922 silent film "Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens" features this vampiric creature as its antagonist. Based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula", but without the rights to the story, the filmmakers had to change most references to the material, resulting in the unique rat-like teeth and elongated talons of the Count. Even the word 'vampire' had to be changed to 'Nosferatu', and this lead to a name mixup to rival that of Frankenstein's monster.
