Shufflers are an unusual form of lip-hooded herbivores; their legs and body have lined up to form a column that preserves heat extremely well by minimizing surface area, an advantageous trait in the tundra and snow forest environments they call home. Most of the time, they keep their head and long neck within the snug warmth of their lip-hoods, but do extend to chomp through tough the tough branches of peel-trees or to call out to other members of their herd. They shuffle along in single file through their frozen environment, taking advantage of whatever plant food they can find.Related content

That's actually going to become a reality. I'm currently working on a piece depicting a herd migrating down from the mountains while being stalked by a pair of arctic parkuda. However, I wasn't planning on posting it until the single-subject pieces of all Epimethian organisms were done.
