Description
Skeletons are one of Minecraft's sapient species, constructing temples and domesticating other species. They are primarily nomadic, their temples remaining empty much of the time and only being visited for religious rites or pilgrimiges; This group is just leaving one, riding out into the night on their spider steeds. Spiders have been domesticated by skeletons for thousands of years, serving as steeds, beasts of burden, and hunting companions, their wiry but powerful musculature allowing for both speed and strength. Bats are Minecraft's most predominant clade of flying animals, so there is a great variety of species present in most biomes; they feed on smaller flying animals like experiences and plant matter like cactus skin or tree leaves. Skeletons consider shooting down one of these agile flyers a mark of supreme archery skill.* All characters/creatures are from Minecraft, property of Mojang and Microsoft *

What do the different species of bat look like?

They all have the same basic build; variation is mostly in the shape and color of the crests and patterning on the wing surfaces.

This is my favorite so far I love how you've transformed the Skellies into humanoid arachnids!
Why do they combust in daylight though? Perhaps because UV radiation reacts violently with their exoskeleton?

Thanks
That's actually an aspect of Minecraft that I've left out of this project.

Yeah, that was pretty much my headcanon when I first played, too.
I just like to try and find ecological patterns/equivalences in synthetic systems; this was fairly easy to identify and very fun to turn into a project.

Well with all the ruins and abandoned mines I figure the villagers are kind of primative, at the moment I'm trying to get villagers to move into a city I'm building so far unsuccessful.... I might have to kill them for their stuff

To the best of my knowledge, the only way to start villagers spawning/breeding is to cure two zombie villagers and give them an enclosed and lit building with a door.

Looking pretty neat, I like the fact that everything still looks kinda blocky despite being in a more organic medium.
