In response to Chinese expansion, Japan and South Korea form an uneasy alliance and military unification.
The European Union is disbanded, with TSP governed European countries forming the European Federation.
NATO is replaced by a single military shared amongst the North Atlantic Union.
European countries left out of the North Atlantic Union are invaded by Russia which then undergoes an economic crisis following global sanctions and becomes isolationist.
TSP manipulates political opponents into forming the puppet Democratic Alliance Party in a scheme to appease the public whilst becoming increasingly authoritarian to regain stability across the NAU.
TSP ushers in the first Transhumanist age by prioritising scientific innovation over all other policies, robots, gene therapies, life extension, synthetic biology and other technologies become much more abundant in NAU society.
In response to western advancements, the East Asian Federation government rebrands itself as the Neo-Communist Party of East Asia, also prioritising scientific innovation.
A decade into the Transhumanist age, TSP has total authoritarian rule over the NAU, including insectoid drone surveillance although freedom of speech is legal whilst the EAF is under Orwellian totalitarianism.
Countries across Africa, the Americas, Eurasia and Indonesia have become hubs for gmo agriculture and renewable energy production, referred to as croplands.
Multiple dictatorships derived from governments of Brazil and India export their produce to the NAU, EAF, Russia, South Korea, and Japan and import technology to subdue their citizens.
Australia and New Zealand shun the Transhumanist movement and become isolationist and self-reliant, independent of the croplands.
To maintain progress, TSP organises a merger between Chimera Synthesis and leading Robotics Company Dynamic Robotica, forming Biohybrid Robotics and the neo-communists develop their cyborg industry.

The NAU and EAF engage in frequent trade wars and fund proxy wars across the croplands, with the NAU becoming heavily indebted to the EAF, who better exploit the cropland regimes.
