Indeed! I would love to see the art department and the realistic design they would have to do.

I'm happy to read that, cause the intention was to make them look like real objects.

Woah, is this really cinema 4D? I've used the program, but those pokeballs look pretty real! The photo wall for the reflection makes it look like they're really there laying around
Props to you for making this awesomeness

BionicleGahlok In reply to YattaroSB [2010-05-26 01:09:13 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, that's actually the trick for the realism, if you take it out, it looks boring.
Thank you for the comment!

=w= This looks like real sunshine. I'm in love with how reflective you make the pokeballs. It's gorgeous. If there is ever a live action or 3D pokemon movie, I hope you get hired to do the pokeballs. You're a MASTER >w>

Very impressive. I'm curious: how did you craft these?
Incidentally, the reflexions on the balls seem indicate this photograph was taken in a rather sunny place... right? =3
Honor ball for the win =3

BionicleGahlok In reply to kalistina [2010-02-28 17:51:35 +0000 UTC]
Thank you for your nice comment. Actually, this image is a 3D render. The objects are reflecting a real photograph but the balls, the floor and the lighting were all made in a 3D software.

I can name all of these! Let's see, there's the poke ball, great ball, ultra ball, master ball, net ball, premiere ball, repeat ball, the GS ball, and...that's it. (I know the ball between the ultra & premiere balls, but I forgot what it's called...so I know MOST of these...)
