I made them in 3D. This is a render. I`m afraid I don`t know how to make one for real.

the chrome pokeball is the GS ball? isn't the top suppose to be gold

The top is golden, it even has that weird GS symbol in it, but the ball is slightly upside-down.

they look real but when you look really close you can see that they are models.
But the balls look kinda big ,(maybe my idea) what are the measurements?

Uhmmm, there's no precise scale on them, actually. You're getting the size idea based on the scale of the texture of the floor, I think.

hmmm possible , but I think if the floor was monocolor you had the same idea, maybe the point of view and the distance are making the size idea.
I thought you used a model of a tennisball (as template )orsomething when you rendered.

Yeah, that plays an important part as well. I started learning more about focal length and depth of field later, specially after I started playing with a DSLR. I did one render with some depth of field.

I guess what stops them from making "high quality" pokeballs is that it would be much more expensive to make. But I do think it would be a great idea to make a collector's edition of them, even with a nice stand (like those lightsabers from master replicas).

Well, I can say I made them, but I made them on Cinema4D. It's cool to create a 3D model, but all you can do after that is just render an image out.

Pokeball, MasterBall, Great Ball, Ultraball, PremierBall, TimerBall, NetBall, RepeatBall and the Silver One I don't really remember it ._.

The silver one is the GS ball, the other half of it is golden, at least it was supposed to be but the material didn't work as I expected.
I made them using Cinema 4D.
