In that case my only suggestions are work bigger, work to make each poke'ball 500x500px min even if you shrink them later... And maybe use textures on some of the rarer ones like dusk and safari that could look like they're made of something different. Eh. Just suggestions.
You should be happy with it anyway...
Ha - have you ever thought of getting someone to photograph you in the classic 'throwing pokeball into battle' pose that ask does then adding the ball and effects in digitally later ? That'd look really awesome.

3D is similar to vector images, you can render it at any size. But at that time I had a lame computer, 20 hours to render something big. But now I don't have this problem, so I can push the render a bit further. I also know how to work with textures more decently now, so in my latest pokeball image I used some textures to make them look "used". I like it much more than this one.
I thought about doing that actually, but not with me. I'll be doing some compositions mixing the pokeballs with photographs hopefully in a near future!

I love this, it is beautiful! I wanted to say, I originally found this in an android app called PokΓ©mon. The app is made by Inglorious Desi. It's a pokemon wallpaper app, and they have your photo up with no credit to you. It allows you to set it as your wallpaper but not save it. It was so beautiful I knew it had to be from deviantART, I typed in pokeballs in Google images and that's how I found it again. I just wanted to let you know, because I'm bummed that they took your piece and I highly doubt they asked for your permission.

Yeah, this image is scattered all over now, but I can only blame myself. When I posted this, I didn't like it, it didn't look the way I wanted. So I didn't include a link, cause I thought nobody would like it that much anyway. But I was wrong as you can see. I can't do much now, and it doesn't bother me that much, I just regret not putting the link, so people would be able to find the original. But I'm still trying to do better, and all of this served as a good lesson. I'm glad there's people like you who can still find the original tho.
