Description
Stand name: Blinded Guardian (band: blind guardian)Power: C
Speed: B
Range: C
Durability: B
Precision: A
Potential: B
Stand user: Jayme the Oddz (Aurelio Voltaire's ex-wife + new york quintet)
Weakness: In the stand's chest, behind thick black glass, there is a beating heart of flesh. The glass can only be broken by a stand with powerlevel A or by the stand itself. Destroying the heart would result in both the user's and stand's death.
Other abnormalities: Blinded Guardian can also negate small things that aren't noticed by the user. For (a ridiculous) example: imagine the user was riding a bike. During the ride the bike got a flat tyre. Blind Guardian changes this since it's a very minor thing, and thus the tyre is fixed.
Special attack: "wheel of time" (Blind Guardian: the wheel of time)
"Wheel of time" allows the stand to take care of things around the user that the user herself can't notice. The ability is limited to actions that either affect the stand or the user.
The "wheel of time" attack begins at a time-stop. Within the time-stop, only the stand can move, and can only perform "wheel of time" in the time-stop. The attack is visualised as the stand picking the part of reality it wants to change and having it take the form of a wheel, and then turning it, revealing a different image representing the new reality.
Blinded Guardian does not need to perform one time-stop per reality change, but it can change several realities within one time-stop.
Within the time-stop, Blinded Guardian's actions are limited to performing "wheel of time" and walking around. Blinded Guardian can not counsil its user as she too is frozen within the time-stop.
For example: imagine Jayme being ambushed by a group of people in a narrow alleyway. She can take care of the armed men in front of her, but she fails to hear nor see a man drawing his gun behind her. At that moment Blinded Guardian stops time.
It nears the man pointing his gun at her. The man and the area around him take shape in the form of a solid circle. Blinded Guardian wraps his long fingers around it and slowly turns it. The image of the man disappears and makes room for a slightly different image.
The stand then returns to its user to unfreeze time. Thanks to "wheel of time", the man's shot misses. It is important to note that Blinded Guardian couldn't change the gun into a different object, as he can't change past actions, only actions in the present.
"Wheel of time" simply can not affect actions directed at the stand or user that the user notices. So if someone were to charge at her with a knife from upfront, she and the stand would have to get physical.
Turning around wouldn't help either, as she has already noticed the attack.
Blinded Guardian is still fully capable of physical combat.
History: Blinded Guardian was attached to Jayme by an unknown person with the purpose to protect her. Jayme the Oddz is deaf, and Blinded Guardian is blind (to a certain extent). They compensate each other in a way, Blinded Guardian being able to see what she sees, and it serving as her hearing. The stand has enhanced hearing so practically nothing goes unnoticed to it.
Blinded Guardian has shown signs of personality and intelligence before. It refuses to speak however, as it feels no need to since its user is deaf anyways. It can be seen pondering sometimes (even at times when the user is asleep) or using sign language to give short messages to its user.
Jayme the Oddz was a deaf woman from her 12th age, so she can speak regularly and is also quite skilled in lipreading. She has never been involved in any adventures, so the reason for her stand's existence is a mistery.
About the development potential: Blinded Guardian is basically ready to develop. Once developing, the blinds on its face will fade away and the stand will be able to see. Sadly, this would take away the user's sight, effectively making her lack two out of five crucial senses. This is why the stand would only develop if the user has already lost her sight in f.e an accident or if she keeps demanding for it.
Once developed, the stand can put on its blinds again but it will not give the user her sight back.
