Why not? Cats are cool! Realistically though it's to be the opposite of what the powerpunk girls are made of. The powerpunks are made of Salt, Vinegar and Everything sinister * the comics credit the last one as Everything nasty, I just switched it to sinister to keep the rhyme going. The Powerpuffs and Rowdyruffs are based on the nursery rhyme what are little boys made of in our world so the powerpunks & rowdyrudes/rowdyrights are that in their world.
