Soooooooooo.

Scootaloo is an epic character within MLPFIM. But I realized when going through all my AU versions of the Canon characters, that though I had a lot of LGBTQIA+ representation((most of these AU versions I have not yet posted)) but I didn’t have a single non-binary character((this only counts cannon AU characters, not my ocs))And that’s when the idea hit me.

I wanted my non-binary pone to be one of the pones who already was closer to the gender stereotype of the opposite gender.(and not Big Mac. I just want him to be the gentle giant type of older brother of the apple family) So my main options were: Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, and Scootaloo.

Below is my reasoning for not choosing RD or AJ

i didn’t choose RD because one of the main things I like about her is how she defies the gender stereotypes without seeming unhappy with who she is. I feel Rainbow is a great character, of course she has her flaws, but overall I like how she is a cocky Tom-boy who, even though she likes more stereotypically boyish things, still belongs, and feels like a female.

For AJ the reason is different. When I was young I actually had a hard time remembering AJ’s gender. But now that I’m older I really prefer her the way she is. A hard working girl who owns the farm. Just love the hard working lady asthetic, and I don’t want to change that.

So now for Scoots.

Scootaloo was always a girl in my mind. Until one day, this week in fact, I was messing around, making characters on Pony Town, and I decided that I wanted to Make Scoots non-binary. It felt right. Scoots definitely wasn’t a Female to Male trans, I just couldn’t see them that way. It made much more sense to me for them to be Non-binary. Scoots enjoys a lot of stuff that doesn’t have a gender stereotype. Oh, and I’m making a polyship! Scoots, Sweetie, and Apple Bloom! Best friends turned lovers. And my Pony Town versions of them all wear clothes that represent their pride!

But really, I just thought It’d be nice for Scoots to be non-binary. So my Scoots has a new name: Scooter Blitz.

I was having trouble picking, so if you can think of something better don’t be afraid to suggest it.

And now, I talk about the most controversial issue including Scootaloo.

Her parents
(Here we go)

id like to start this out by saying I love Mane Allgood and Snap Shutter’s designs. I also think they would make great characters on their own. But they are CRAP parents for Scoot. But they are still her parents because I wanna make them more crap. I hate them as parents so they do not support their foal once Blitz transitions, and they disown Scoots. Legal papers and all. It breaks little Scooter Blitz’s heart.

OKAY IM DONE WITH THEM NOW. ON TO SCOOTS’ AMAZING LESBIAN AUNTS.

Aunty Lofty and Aunt Holiday take full custody over Scoots, supporting them fully and taking them in as their full child. Not just taking care of them, but actually being their parents, signing papers, and Legally adopting them. Blitz loves their aunts, more than almost anything. They now hold quite a bit of resentment towards their parents, but deep down all they truly wanted was for them to understand.

Scooter Blitz gets bullied at school a lot for their gender. But there is a group of great foals who defend them and are their friends. These foals are listed below, along with info on their genders and sexualities in case anyone was wonder what I put them as in my AU

Also, yes. I redesigned them. Sweetie is now short, chubby, and spotty. Apple Bloom has freckles and a minor spot pattern on her back and near her hooves, she is also tall and well muscled, she’s actually taller than Big Mac. You can’t see it well from this angle but Apple Bloom has A braid for her hair and tail. And Scoots is a paint with fluffy hooves and still small wings that have a slight gradient.
