Didn’t have much to say for Sunny but now that o have an example of each pony type I can finally introduce their differences!Over time as the ponies stayed separate each gained differences that better adapted them to their enviroments.
High in the sky Pegasi got smaller and lighter and their fluffy half feather half fur coats kept them warm in the cold winds. Their wings got larger and their ears smaller(also for cold protection) and their eyes slimmed to protect them from debris while flying.
Unicorns got taller to reach high up tree branches and their horns began to specialize and stop growing fur. Many Unicorn horns are now pearly white but some are silver, crystal, or even gold. The fur on their hooves grew longer to protect them from rocky ground and their legs grew lankier allowing them to run fast and jump high up. Their longer tails allow them to balance on ledges and tree branches
The earth ponies gained a stalkier build and more round eyes along with large ears but overall remained the most similar to the original pony form.
So that’s the Differences I came up with, Later I’ll post some sketches that illustrate these changes and variations a little better.
