Well this answers one worry the audience has had. Yes, yes I am cruel enough to kill off the Eds. Actually, if I find it aids the story in any meaningful way, all characters are fair game in my stories. That does not mean however, that all characters die in my stories. Far be it from that. It needs to have a good reason in the story. Anyway, the Eds are dead. But what did Ed mean about failing them? And Double D accounts this all being his fault. Perhaps he meant his lack of physical ability in the last page? Or is it something more?
Who is to say.

Anyway there is plenty more story. I promise. We will be entering a new sequence the next page that will more fully explain this sequence. Which is good... because I'm tired of lava.

Oh yeah, that Double D drawing. It's far from how I usually draw him, even when upset. It actually looks kind of deranged... which in this particular situation, I like! It gets the emotion across first. Still, it took encouragement from to convince me to keep it.
