Sorry, I hate PETA with a passion. Plus, I couldn't see Fluttershy associating with them, because they kill more animals than save anyway.

I herd about that. The franchise has been around for years, and in that time Mario's jumped on turtles, thrown their shells, bashed mushrooms, ridden dinosaurs(Yoshi) which could count as animal endangerment/cruelty. And their picking "now" to criticize Mario? All in all they're just video games.

Yeah. I played those games since I was three and they never once ever inspired me to go out and abuse animals. Especially not the Duck Hunt game. PETA may have had good intentions but they were making other animal rights groups look bad.
