I was thinking about that as well. It's a valid point, both panels could exist without any text at all, and still be pretty funny

It the end, I decided I needed to put in the implication that Sweetie Belle already has an issue with burning food (Sisterhooves social, plus my comics), and she is just now figuring out it extends to everything else.

I was leaving me an out to continue this into a series

How do you get a non-flammable rock to burn? With chlorine trifluoride (description ). It's said to be able to ignite and burn ash, brick, sand and water.

My first thought on seeing this was not about Sweetie Belle, but that the poor rock's adventuring days were over. I can never see anything archery-related the same way again, thanks to Skyrim.

Ah, so you agree with me that magic color matches (or at least, used to match) eye color. But now it seems they've changed it, and magic color appears to match cutie mark color. Except, we don't yet know what cutie mark the little ones will get, so then it matches their eyes anyway? I'm overthinking this, aren't I.

But, I can't be the only one who noticed that, for instance, Trixie had pinkish magic to go with her pinkish eyes, though her cutie mark was blue, or even just recently little Pumpkin Cake had blue magic with her BLUE eyes.

NO ME STOP OVERTHINKING THIS MINUTE ASPECT OF A CHILDREN'S SHOW.

The magic color depends on who the story board artist is... It's either eyes or cutie mark. That is why Twi's magic color changes.

Last season it was purple. But this season, I've only seen it in hot pink, save for the premiere, which was done for the first season anyway.
