I was thinking of "sets of elements" things before too...
So far the best idea (to me at least) was a set of elements based on the the balance between harmony and chaos ('cus there's really no such thing as one or the other, right? Life is a balance of good and bad.)
I thought it was a pretty good idea for a fanfic involving some sort of war where the elements are discovered by each of the holders as they learn what it means to act for the greater good. They would be put into situations where they would have to make a choice between saving the lives of their soldiers or knowingly having them massacred (somehow resulting in a great shift in power or events that ultimately causes a solution to a problem) and other such "holy sins" sort of things. Things that would be revealing of the truths of human nature and illustrates the large amounts of gray between the black and the white.
A few run-on sentences in there, sort of... sorry.
Anyways, I thought it was a great idea but couldn't pull it off by myself so I quit.

the castle is (oddly enough) is being held on by wooden planks but TONS of hammer bros. are guarding them and since you can set anything on fire I think that certain koopa king will need to change address

Look you need to set only the wooden planks on fire that's the critical thing we need only just a little spark to set a blaze the planks luckily the castle itself is made from stone so the place won't burn up
