Thanks everyone for putting up with my little minimalist experiment, where I made a comic using the least effort possible. It worked pretty well, I only spent about 6 hours in total on the 12 panels in the 3 comics.
Now back to my usual style for the next mythbuckers
I was inspired by watching the old speed racer. how a characters expression was frozen unless there was a really good reason to animate it...
Animation must have been expensive back then... thank Celestia for flash cartoons

Though, seems like she'd be charging the teleport spell already in panel 2, since most of the times she uses it it takes her a couple seconds to be able to teleport.

In the second season, Twi has been a lot more proficient, with only a short lead up to teleportation.
Plus I wasn't able to come up with an effect for panel 2 that didn't clash with the comic... It made it more cluttered than it already was

That line Celestia gave just before Twilight left, was pretty convincing. I'm sure Celestia, has played the field a lot in her immortal lifetime. And done more than her fair share of experimenting. I mean how else is she supposed to spend her immortality? Well besides lording over all ponies, and playing pranks on them.

Twilight: "Um.. princess, is that your tail, or are you just happy to see me."
Celestia: "yes"
Twilight: "igottagogoodbye"
I have to admit, I think the final version came off funnier and less creepy than the draft.

Why thank you. I pride myself on being clever in names, being the royal insulter after all.......and I am so glad that our wonderful, kind, wise ruler is also one with a sense of humor, and takes a joke with grace, not taking things personally, even when so directed at her highness herself. I am given the greatest of pride to know that I work, or should I even say work, for someone so benevolent and...Alright, she's gone. I think I almost got sent to the moon there.
