Well healthier than factory batter that has tons of stuff to increase shelf life anyway

Butter is completely unnecessary (you can get all the necessary fat from the egg), but the nutmeg might add an interesting touch

Butter is there because fat is delicious. The nutmeg...IDK, if I make these I might try it and let you know how they taste.

Yeah, I like the taste of butter too, but I think in this case it would be unnecessary. Unless you take the water cake base and try to make a different type of cupcake
