Description
*ORIGINAL FILE IS ENORMOUS!!! * You have been warned*
This is by far one of the most ambitious projects I've ever worked on. But I don't regret it one bit!
This all started with this simple question: "What would happen if England's horrible cooking skills got in the way of his potion making?". And from that sprung an entire story
Basically England was sick and tired of everyone making fun of his ability to see fairies, so he decided to invite them over and feed them a potion that would make them see them as well. But thanks to his "cooking curse" he messed up big time and the whole thing exploded in his face
When he regained consciousness he realized he had been turned into a rabbit-thing (and was 1/3 of his original size). He immediately went to look in his magic books for a counter-spell, but to his horror not only the explosion destroyed his ingredients but he only had until dawn before the spell became permanent
At first he tried his best to leave the house to gather new ingredients without the others noticing his current state, but after seeing a ghost Canada passing through walls in search for him he realized the explosion had affected everyone else too
And so from that point the story is about how they all had to work together to gather the ingredients in time, while facing Russia's demonic shadow, who was going berserk
Before you ask, I don't have anything else planned for this project
I could try to fully develop the rest of the story and maybe turn it into a doujin, but it would consume too much of my time and energy. Unless there's a significant interest from other people (and help), I don't intend to take it any further than this
Other option would be starting an RP game surrounding this story, but again it's not something I intend doing on my own
[EDIT]: Due to the overwhelming support I've wrote a journal related to turning this story into a doujin. If you want to volunteer please do read -> [link]

I've mentioned in comment replies here and there. I'm currently making a 3D model of the story setting to help me with the creation of the story (I tried more traditional methods but it didn't quite work out). And before my arm got busted again I was compiling an updated character list

Yes, there's going to be a big mess of events that will cause problems for everyone. But that's all I can say without spoiling the plot

well my idea was that in one moment in the middle of the quest, most of the group gets separated for different reaons. for example France could get chased by a dog and separated of the group and England for example could venture off into someone's garden in search of one of the ingredients and my idea was that the perso sees him and since he is a bunny takes him inside to play wit him. you know like Holand who loves rabbits and then ghost Canada has to go and save him.Β

Birvan In reply to Gem-paw [2015-07-17 01:15:37 +0000 UTC]
The England venturing into someone's garden wouldn't fit very well because the story takes place in a manor house. Takes forever just to leave the grounds
The rest sounds feasible though

XDDD That would make so much sense (I think in some places it's Sasquatch in others it's the ape skunk), ... but Canada is definitely more the ghostly type (don't get me started on all of the ghost stories from the Maritime provinces alone )
Also I love England's bunny ears. :3

I'm not very familiar with the ghost stories there. The reason I picked it was because Canada is often so invisible to others
He absolutely hates them XD

I know. XD I figured you made him a ghost because he's usually over looked (and in one episode you could actually see through him). I just added that as an after thought. XD

Which for me is so weird because anyone knows Canada. Ask about Portugal and people just stare blankly at you
π: 0 β©: 1
Alex-Ghost In reply to Birvan [2014-10-06 20:59:00 +0000 UTC]
Wow, that is strange. I thought most people knew about Portugal. I remember learning about geography in school and Portugal being mentioned, (along with a lot of other countries of course). I even knew a girl and her brother who had grandparents living there, and went to visit every so often.
I think the whole thing with Canada being invisible just has to do with WWI and WWII, because the Canadians were involved heavily in both, but weren't always recognized by other countries as not being British in WWI, and were barely recognized in WWII. My great grandfather used to tell us about his adventures in the Canadian navy. :3
I think Portugal is a very interesting and cool country, and that people should learn more world history and geography (which is required where I'm from in Canada).

You'd be amazed how many people believe the Age of Exploration spontaneously started with Columbus and not with decades of prior work from the portuguese D<
I guess Canada is a rare exception since Port does have a lot of people working there. Outside of the ex-colonies, not even Spain remembers Port's existence (he does it out of stubbornness though) T__T
To be honest I never learned about the canadian participation in the wars, but 1) we did focus more on the european side of the conflict and 2) I had a horrible history teacher > >
Thanks. Canada enjoys a pretty good reputation around here (except for the cold)

Alex-Ghost In reply to Birvan [2014-10-13 19:36:43 +0000 UTC]
I recall hearing about that in history class a long time ago. I also remember that the Chinese, the Vikings and some drunk Irish monk all got to North America (and specifically Canada) before Columbus. Yeah, that is too bad. I mean you guys are right beside Spain!
That's okay, it just means that there is still so much for all of us to learn about one another. It makes history that much more interesting to study.
You're welcome and thanks. (It's only cold in the winter.XD)

Birvan In reply to Alex-Ghost [2014-10-20 14:02:00 +0000 UTC]
We never learned that. At most the viking one was treated as a rumor and not as a potential theory X(
It's exactly because of that they ignore us and we annoy them, too many centuries of animosity
They never got over the fact they don't control the entire peninsula and we are still too painfully aware of the size and power difference to not see any potential interest in us as a sign of invasion > >
You can say that again XD
Yes, but us portuguese don't like the cold in general, hence why that's our main complaint
