I'm pretty happy to say I'm not suffering from yet another art block/massive energy drain and actually managed to start producing art for a change 8D
This is just a sneak peek of a section I'm developing for my webpage (yeah, yeah, another redesign, but this time I actually like how it's turning out)
Making gradient vector art is a pain, but I'm surprisingly having a lot of fun with it. I wish I could say the same about picking a button design... > >;

Website design in general I have utmost respect for; it's like, imagine if interior design had to be absolutely crystal-clear and appealing and soft at the same time, it's a scary challenge. I wish you, like, infinite luck.
(I haven't posted on this site probably in months - it's been six months to the day of my last journal - but I've just been posting all my stuff on FurAffinity - glad to hear we're both on the same page when it comes to art blocks and work going on elsewhere <3)

For me it's quite a pain in the ass. Doing a webdesign for yourself is far worse than doing it for others X(

And then there's the fact that EVERYONE has to be able to use the site - even if they're dyslexic or colorblind (both of them run in my family, I have to think about those)
Furaffinity is a strange beast; luckily, it hasn't changed too much since it was founded. You can do almost anything with it, if you're cool with crude results, if you know some basic code. ^^ I like it. Crude and simple. Meat and Potatoes. Here's the button to do this, here's the menu to do that. I don't have to sort through endless categories and fight through endless tags and wait for everything to be approved... I'm not good with computers, fA is water in the desert.

There are tests online, I think, where you can import your url and see if it's readable...
Eh, no worries! I can't wrap my head around Weasyl, but everyone's moving there in the wake of the proposed redesign and in protest over hiring Zaush to admin (giving a known sexual predator access to all notes broadcast over a website is a ridiculous and horrifying thought to begin with).

Mrmm... Some of my favorite artists at least had the decency to put up "I'm going to delete everything" warnings, so I saved their entire gallery... some posted it and then never took their page down, so I'm in a state of tension... There was a gallery shutdown a month before this happened, so we were used to avoiding it.

That owl is SO cute!!! I wish I could draw birds, they always look weird when I try.

Actually drawing owls is pretty simple. Just a lot of circles and curves
Simplifying objects to basic geometric shapes is a good technique to help you learn
