I love resin....Anyhow, I was commissioned to update the original 1e House Liao Cataphract design by a gentleman on Facebook, and while I do NOT do the 3D renders or the casting, this is the finished product of my concept art and orthos.
Pretty dang happy with how it came out.

only battlemech, or rather Omnimech, casting I have ever done was back in jewelry art metals classes back at university to practice lost-wax casting and alloying bronze from scratch in preparation for my chess set . I would have made the full Omnimech star but the rest of the bronze became needed fro the chess set, which unlike the mechs was for actually for a grade.
