Description A pre Star League design for the Terran Hegemony using the best available tech at it's time of manufacture.  Based off the Victor battlemech, it was intended to fill a similar role, but without being reliant on ammunition. While a solid design, being introduced just a few years before the founding of the Star league, it became somewhat lost in the glut of newer, even more advanced Mechs to come. By the time of the Exodus most had been relegated to reserve stashes in various Castles Brian around the League.  Commissioned by and displayed with permission of Mark Sedwick from the Battletech International Facebook page.

Is there a Model name or number attached to it? Like SBJ-5H or something like that? Not sure if we have permission to mess around with the model as well in our own games, but I tried to create it in SSW and this is what I got. Not sure if I have everything placed correctly however.

Placing the TRO information into a pastebin because DA thinks I am spamming.

somewhere yes.  ATM I don't recall where, but since it was a commission piece, the patron has that info

Terrific work !!! It couldn't have turned out better, and I'm VERY happy with it. Thanx, my friend.

And your design works terrifically in-game too!

Nice, tho i'm gonna presume its gonna share some problems like an Atlas. Most of the hard hitting weapons are at the arm which waist level, which means its gonna need to expose the whole mech a lot to return fire.

I will probably move one of the PPC to the (LT), at least will give it some hill humping capability.

Still a solid piece of work.

Since TT doesn't have any such issues, rule of cool combined with the wishes of the Patron outweigh practicalities.  Also in TT...you can just...lift the arm to shoulder height.  Just sayin.

True that, that is something nice if can be implemented in the current games.

*its time of manufacture.

This is a cool-looking machine! I'm guessing that it has two PPCs and three medium lasers and an AMS?

not a bad guess.  It's built off an improved endo steel Victor Chassis.

80 tons,
4/6/4 movement,
17[34] Double Heatsinks
15 tons standard armor
2 PPC (RA/LA)
1 LL (CT)
1 ML (RT)
1 SL (H)

Built in 2571, it predates any Pulse or Extended range weapons, along with XL engines, etc.

Any variants? Maybe units meant to handle dug in infantry?

would think there are better units for that than using an Assault mech.  Vulcan, Firestarter, etc.

Yeah, very much like the Wyvern from Jovian Chronicles.

at a guess; 80-90 tonne 4/7/4 move, losttech ferro fibre.
 RA + LA: PPC
RT: M las, jj =  CT: M las =  LT: ams, spotlight, jj
 RL + LL: jj

nice, thought of the ferro fibre as it gave the asthetic to the old lost one mecha (the harmony gold/robotech era)

I THOUGHT I could see some Mekton inspiration in it.

This looks awesome! Out of morbid curiosity, what is the loadout?  It looks like 4 lasers and ppc or lbx on the arms

thankee.  Mark had an idea he wanted to build off an old mekton miniature.  I tried to keep the essence, but reduce the anime and think it came out pretty well.

It came out damn well, and captured EVERYTHING I wanted to see while removing the over-the-top Anime look. Bishop Steiner did an amazing job and his artistic talent in fantastic!
