I went to a local thrift store and bought a plain white top. I bought some yellow fabric paint and some blue painters tape and used those as markers on the shirt. So the width of the tape was about the size of the stripe. Then i just painted the blank areas yellow. Removed the tape and had some pretty clean stripes!
