Actually works of this type aircraft says wings must be extremelly span like Vulcan Areospace Stratolauncher troday in development from base concept Scaled Composites Burt Rutan design not looks fine, but in theory will carry some class of space ship to let on stratosphere. Colossus looks well as a plane on 747-123 model Outsized piggy-back cargo classΒ

Rutan's designs don't always look good, but they usually perform well (with a few exceptions of course).
If you're interested, I created a website devoted entirely to Rutan's designs:

More joyful than a clasical cargo plane, and with an improved rear access thanks to the twin-booms... designer, you have made a winner, will a manufacturer ever build it?

I see a design of a C-17 mixed with a C-119 [sort of]

Not really what I did, but I see your point... Rather a C-5 Galaxy with a Cessna Skymaster!!

Thanks! It is, isn't it?
Actually I used a genuine UAV as a basis, added engines, cockpit, resized it... Looks the part, doesn't it? LOL
