If anyone here hasn't played Asura's wrath, go play it, like right now, the game may be short but that's because it suffers from luigi's mansion syndrome: Short, but extremally sweet.unfortunately the game gives you a fake ending, to unlock the 'real' ending you ether have to play through again on hard mode or get 10 S-ranks. the reason the word real is in quotation marks here is because this ending is also fake. turns out if you want the real-real ending you have to download the DLC for the final chapter. the above shot is from my favourite moment in the DLC's final boss battle.

Actually, the dlc ending would count as an alternate universe, like the lost episodes. The first ending is the technical real ending, and the "real" ending is the split into the separate universe. Or at least that's what I like to tell myself.

That's false. The events take place immediately after the "real" ending of the main story.
They aren't alternate universes, just Capcom being money grubbing pricks.

Meh, the game was short anyway.
I think the episodic DLC was a good idea for the game, it helped out it's longevity.
Besides, it was the most epic DLC and most worth it I've ever payed for, this being why.
