ALIAS-Further notes on powers: Absorbing kinetic energy is an active ability, and doesn't happen automatically. He has to be aware of the energy in order to receive it. If he stores too much energy, he must disperse some of it before the excess damages his physiology as it attempts to disperse itself in his system or in the space around him. Alias cannot use too much energy in one attack or the force could shatter his bones/tear a muscle/ect
-Alias sometimes calls Dan 'Daniel', because he hates it. ((Don't call Dan 'Daniel'. Don't.))

You know, I knew Alias' powers were kinetic-based, but I didn't realize how very similar they are to the powers I gave a character of mine. Mainly the whole 'absorbing/nullifying kinetic energy' thing, although he can amplify kinetic energy without absorbing it first. You're way better at explaining it succinctly than I am, I may need to take notes. XD

Haha, thank you! Dealing with kinetic energy is kinda tricky to explain, huh? I had to really simplify it here because I didn't want to wall of text it, and there are so many variables to his power that I just can't explain everything at once, haha! Glad to have given you some inspiration on it??

I totally hear you, I usually end up with like an entire page of type when trying to explain any of my superpowers. XD Hooray for inspiration! The nice thing about a simplified explanation like that is that it gives you and your opponents a fair amount of latitude; sometimes over-explaining can write you into a corner. I am excited to see him in action.
