I'd play it, if it were fun.

Wrath of the Lich King was the killing blow.

It's just idling in capital cities waiting in queues, not about the WORLD of Warcraft like it should it, like it used to be.

In Mists theyre gonna bring back world bosses and focus on (world)PVP.

Wrath was a long haul. I agree on that but Cata is worse. Killing Cairne, Garrosh as Warchief and throwing the Trolls out of Orgrimmar and everyone is stuffed into Org that being the 'badge' vendors and such only in Org.
