Description This is a fanart based on a character of my favourite manga "NARUTO". I used Corel Paint Pro 8 (man, i love this thing!) and mainly the "artist - instant impressionism" brush.

..... so tempted to name this artwork as "Stuffs05"...

Looks good. It's been a while since I used Corel software, though. I wondered if they're still putting together a decent program (although I use PSP9, I still remember starting out with Corel Photo-PAINT).

painter 9 is out and this latest one is said to be less burdening than painter 8. I do felt a little difference (processor usage-wise). you know, sometimes when your pc gets slow, and when you made one stroke, you gotta wait for the thing to show up on the screen... i don't have to deal with that with painter 9. Although my mates in the studio beg to differ...

ps: what's a PSP9?

PSP9 is Jasc Software's Paint Shop Pro, basically Adobe Photoshop for paupers like myself. 9 being the latest version (I think it's up to "X" now), it has all the image editing tools I can use for cleaning up and adding colors or dialog to any art that I scan.

wow. This is fantastic. I love the style you've used for this. The sketchiness looks really nice, and the strokes on the hair really make me think of sakura leaves. Very nice work!
