Lupe is my favorite of the Archie characters. She didn't get the attention she deserved though, but that doesn't mean she wasn't awesome. I must admit that she does look nifty in that outfit, and if I remember correctly she had a hair style similiar to Slayer's.
BTW, I never got to finish the storyline with her and the two human girls. Come to think of it, I never found out how the entirety of them were robotisized in the later issues. What happened?

I'm not quite sure what happened because I stopped reading relatively early, say like Issue 75 or so.
Yeah, she's sorely under-used and very seldomly appears in key plot points. Sad.

Reading some of the new comics, especially about 25 issues or so ago, they made only ONE mention of her group, when for some odd reason (*coughbadwritingcough*) they de-robotisized everyone except for Sonic's parents, and Eggman had nothing to do with it.
quite frankly, it felt like an after-thought. Archie's got so many characters and cliff-hanger plotlines that they don't use but 1/4 the characters they made. And there are some really good ones that they haven't used in a really long time.
