Ok well I managed to get the scanner working just enough, or at least my wife did.

This is the sword, Demonsdread. Long story short it was forged to be the companion blade of a character of mine called SoulStealerDei. Basically he was the child of an angel and demon who is caught in between the wars in hell and the fight between good and evil. He is made immortal by an unknown being having his soul imprisoned in a crystalline sphere and he can not die unless the sphere is shattered. As he says “it is a curse what I can live through.” The had the sword made to be a balance for his soul, power and to kill many enemies. It is a part of him linked to his soul, can channel spells through it, absorb and through back spells and shield a limited area for an indefinite period of time.

It is made the bane of demons and devils, dragons, and undead of all shapes and sizes. Quite literally if you are one of the three by the time the blade makes contact with your flesh you will be dust.
