PS: A 'statue' usually represents a person. A sculpture can be anything. Michelangelo did statues. I prefer sculptures - more freedom of expression. I hope you don't mind my opinion.

Just a constructive thought: perhaps you could have cropped the bottom of the image a bit, so the sculpture's support would look more natural and not suspended in the air.

Many thanks. I agree with you over the cropping. The plinth does look a bit overpowering and the little spindly support looks silly. I didn't think it really looked like bronze (see my next sculptural image 'sculpture in the park' coming soon) so calling it 'resin' was all I could think of.

You are very welcome. Sometimes a little crop or objects placement, can create a complete blend of all elements, not simply applying a bg that fits well. These can be common distractions in us all, since we focus so much on the work itself.
