Thank you for fast response.

After the debut... Pff... LOL. Well... I just wanted to say more:

I see, that It's possible to talking to you. You're standing with two legs on the ground.Β  You're not fly away of yourself. Rational minded, honest. This is rare among the "famous" people. (Don't misunderstand it... This is not fact, or flattery.. just simple opinion.)
Hmm. I just watching the brilliant artworks... and... Sometimes, I'm a little sad, because the people don't thinking, don't feel, and don't care to the world. If at least, they would care about each other... but not... only with themselves.
("If the cap not fits...don't wear it")

Don't mention it... ^.^Β  You're very welcome. ^.^

All your own creatures have name? Or just for a few creatures?

P.S.: I just ironized when I said I hate irony...

Heh. Again, you're very kind.

Sometimes I name the characters I paint, sometimes I let the viewer dream up names and personalities for them on their own.

Also, I don't know if I really count as famous. I don't feel famous.

wolfzol In reply to BJPentecost [2018-11-30 21:09:28 +0000 UTC]

You're say kind... some people would say i'm "jerky", "arrogant", or "bastard". Well... I appreciate it. Thank you.
Pff... Yeah... Therefore I wrote quotation marks... "Famous"... (among other things) You're not as famous as it should be. You should be more famous...Β  If we just look the technique and details... and the art of the realistic style or art of creatures concept. And not just in furry community. (Yeah this is the flattery... and opinion too)
It's always difficult and hard to draw fantasy.... because there are quite few reference. Relatively... XD
I once saw some fantasy creatures. With a 40 degrees Celsius fever,Β  so easy. O_o But Someone says: "You don't have to be a sick... Why are you not try to the LSD...?!"Β  But i saying... Thanks no... BecauseΒ  what not natural not so quite good.Β  :'D By the way... you do not even need money for this. XD

And yeah... I don't want to handle you as a "famous incredible goddess"... I just want to talk to you, as a person, who love the art... and love the "work","hobby" and "profession" equally. Who love the fantasy, scifi, anime and sarcasm, ironic, humour (general, dark and/or sick). Already if this is possible. I acknowledge your work and respect you. But if i see you as an "idol" and "superior life form"... i'm afraid, i would to hurt/insult your and my own personality.
Because that's not reality...Β  Because then i don't care who you are in reality, just i talking with your fame... with just an illusion and numbers... an own fantasy creature... and i contemn/despise myself. Then there is no respect, only self interest...
It would be a big lie. And i don't want that.

Names: Oh. I understand. ^.^ We are thinking the same way. In this area.

(I will wirteΒ  for your some pictures.... just the first comment (yeah that many bu**s**t) was long time... (about 10-12 hours... but still not 60. ) i'm so slow if need translate... -.- But i will never give up... Just if i'm so hungry... XD)

Oh! These creatures are so cute! Seeing the long bushy tail and markings, I first thought, snow leopard? Then noticed the more canine features.
I'm thinking this is a mother introducing her cub to it's father/pack member or they are journeying to a whole new magical world on the other side of the water.

Thanks. I always like hearing other people's interpretations of my art. I like leaving the story up to the viewer. So the story can be what you think it is. I will point out, in case you didn't see it, that there's a wyrm blending into the ground.

By Thor's Hammer! Now I see it! I thought that was a log/bridge. That one animal is very brave! No wonder the rest of the left side looks like a fantasy world met a kaleidoscope. Awesome work!

Annabells117 [2014-09-10 04:45:26 +0000 UTC]

Pretty fabulous and 60 hours is good considering the detail. If you want to do anything else to it, you could throw a few lights and/ or intensify color on some objects in the foreground to create a visual path and communicate depth. The old masters did that in oils of backlit scenes like this (even when it wasn't totally realistic) bc it keeps the foreground from looking dark or flat. For example, i am not sure if the middle wolf is small bc it's a baby or further away. I want to think it is the baby and the other 2 are the mom and dad wolf.

BJPentecost In reply to Annabells117 [2014-09-10 08:37:02 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. Excellent idea.

About the baby wolf, if you look closely, you can see his feet on the same plane as the mother wolf's. I like the idea of adding foreground elements though. I might just do that.

There's so much detail in this I can't believe a person drew this. It's amazing, something u would have seen in the newest version of Alice in Wonderland (the one with Jonny Depp) your an extremely talented artist. Words can't describe it's unique originality, odd and beautiful detail. These characters hav traveled from earth into a colorful, alternate Wonderland.Β

Well I completely suck at symbolism so I won't even try, but I find this painting captivating. I love all the colors, it really looks peaceful. I figured the two bigger wolves were mom and dad watching their child. They both have a look of love, protection, and concern while allowing Jr. to venture out on his/her own. As I read down the comment page, OrinoorΒ mentioned a dragon his comment.... I'm like "what Dragon??"Β  Β I don't see one. So IΒ open it up again and there it is in plane sight. BEAUTIFUL! Very creative and clever. You did an excellent job!
