The Finished Artwork: YES!!! It finally WORKS!!
for some reason, they didn't allow me to submit it in the "Tutorials" section. But whatever, at least it works now!
I don't know I if I should call this a tutorial or not, but I hope it might help someone
My favorite part is drawing the face.. but I usually start with the hair (because it's in front of the face) then I colored the face before the braid (because the face is in front of the braid) and then neck, and after that the clothes (because they're in front of the background..) and then the.. (because..) you know what I mean right?

Idk.. in the book, they said Gale's hair is black and so is hers, but in the reference picture it's brown.. so I went with brown.. it's easier than black
