This was really helpful!! I wanted to ask for any tips regarding drawing a human face from photograph. Till now I have been using black-and-white sketch pencils(HB, 2H etc.) only. Recently only I have started using colour pencils and I really wanted to draw human faces..Plzzz help me!! Thanks

If you're drawing from a reference photo, try to use grids. There are many tutorials on deviantart that can show you how

This is amazing thank you! I'm in my last year of school and we've only done coloured pencils very rarely and my teacher now has to be strict on letting us do our own things but I was at a loss on skin tones - this really helped, thank you!!

I don't know anything about anime, but if you're asking about light skin, I think it's better not to use the dark brown much and focus on using the lighter brown and beigeΒ
