Spidey all the way.
However, I'm still not sure why Spider-man and Captain America would be duking it out. Last time I read a comic book featuring the two, they were allies.

Spidey'd just troll him before putting him out of his misery with a good ol backhanded slap lol
Super soldier serum VS 10 tons pressing power......technically if cap punched him, he'd injure himself

Totally agree. Most fans don't get this for some reason.

It's probably because his strength isn't focused on too much outside of the comics. When he needs o stop a train - spidey can press 20 tons.
He's fighting what should be a low-strength level villain/hero - spidey's a 'wimp'.
I don't think the ultimate tv series is helping with this issue.
I just wish they'd bring out a new series on par with how they handle the story with Spectacular with the one of TNAS's.

Uuhh, Dude If you had been watching this show from start to finish this version of spidey actually has the closest strength feats to his comic book counterpart. He's been flipping bus's with ease just buy kicking villains into them and catching and throwing cars even when he's got the flu and caught a helicopter(all of these with ease), he even overpowered the green goblin who's as strong as his ultimate counterpart And finally he managed to support a small section of manhatten on his back all by himself. Though I will agree Spectacular had better plot. But the show has come a long way since the start and will only get better. Next season He's gonna be an Avenger.

I guess I'm just hooked up to the parts where they show him being very weak; getting his foot scratched on a dude's beard, barely able to move the hulk and then relying so heavily on gadgets.
I've seen moments where he shows such strength, but it seems to be consistent. I've not been following the show but I've seen most of it - somewhat dissapointed with certain things. I mean, I liked the first three episodes, but then the jokes and some of the things they did with him just got on my nerves.
The best thing about it so far was the animation, but they messed up the symbiotes, some of his lines are just insulting IMO and I don't like how spidey always needs to team-up to defeat villains that he usually does on his own.
I'll admit that the show has definitely gotten better over time, but it's nowhere near as good as it could be. It's great that you like it though - I'm just stating my own opinion. I just miss having slightly darker shows with an interconnected tv universe like in the 90s y'know?

segamarvel.deviantart.com/art/β¦Β Fourth wall breaking isn't exactly new to spidey. I respect your opinion. If I wanted a show to be completely dark, I would want it to be based off of the Noir Spider-man universe. Or an Anime Spidey as serious as the Bleach cartoon with huge speed and strength showings.

Oh it's not the fourth wall breaking that I mind, it's the way they do it or the timing and it just comes off as annoying. Some of it is done well and some are hilarious, but often they just stress something out that's already pretty obvious to the audience and if anything is pretty insulting to our intelligence. I especially note the Zzzax episode where he stops to explain that water and electricity don't mix - really we should've got it by that point.
Like I said, I welcome fourth wall-breaking ("These suits don't sow themselves you know!" panels etc) but it wouldn't hurt if it happened 3 times at most per episode - and not even every episode. Those comics you showed me has it comedic and tasteful, but the show kinda overloads it. Characters like deadpool NEED it because that's what makes him interesting (But I never take him seriously). Spidey's all about the quips, sensational moves and unbeatable willpower which seems to be often shadowed by the other jokes that don't work. I mean we still get glimpses of what he SHOULD be like but...
Personally I wouldn't mind the show at all (besides making harry venom and just messing up carnage) if it was Miles Morales instead of Pete - Pete's a well established character, but you've got some creative leeway for Miles; you can have him work in a team, break the fourth wall all the time and not know how to fight too well - and it'd still be good. It just doesn't work for Pete IMO. *Okay Rant over XD - nice to have a civilized discussion on the show than forcing each others opinions on each other*
For a show I'd like a tone like TNAS (Still with a lot of comedy when it's not being serious), have it based off the comics but grounded like Spectacular (Eddie Brock Venom, Glider Goblin, high schooler) with animation like in Ultimate whilst having one-off episodes or a spin-off series featuring the Noir Universe, 2099 Universe etc.
It'd be cool if they just reboot the entire Marvel Animated Universe as well; 1st Spidey episode is of him getting his powers (instead of a flashback), we get another Avengers cartoon that works similarly to AEMH, a new X-Men cartoon as well as maybe Dardevil and stuff with TV movies crossing them over on occasion. What do you think?

Ya sounds good. Besides this version of Pete only makes these irresponsible mistakes so that children can learn from them, we cant lose sight of that. The show has toned down in being specific. Heck they even decided to use the word HELL on a kids show on the channel like Disney XD. Still it can only get better with each season, I can feel it in my gut. Next season's gonna rock. I even hope they use Cosmic spidey for one episode.

As long as they handle it better than the Spider-Ham episode.
Although I would like to see Spider-Phoenix. That would be pretty cool - or even an episode based off of the Shattered Dimensions game - team him up with Noir Spidey and Spidey 2099 as they fight off Mysterio (Because he's not been introduced in this universe yet?) for an episode. I'd watch that despite the spikes in tone between Noir 2099 and Ultimate lol

I stopped watching that after episode two...perhaps I should look back at it then eh? Did it get better afterwards? I mean I found MODOK's design to be interesting (How I would see it if he was in the Live Action) but others looked off and the voice acting wasn't very impressive. I dont know - perhaps I'm still feeling burnt after cancelling AEMH
