Description
Last of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Represents death. The bible has no mention of the scythe in the rider's hand, but I figured it suited the whole purpose of the drawing. I also made the horse look very 'zombie-ish' with areas where only the bone is visible, scars and cuts throughout, etc.Color pencil

Thank you very much!The black board that I used is just matt framing. I am sure you could buy it at any art store or framing store. I got it from my art class in high school. If you want, I could ask my old teacher where he go it from. And I used prismacolor colored pencils (the 24 color pack).

Thats cool! I have done a similar style painting where the painting kinda continues onto to matting frame... more like I painted on the frame to make it go along with the painting. And I love prismacolor pencils because of the colors, but I do agree... sometimes they can be hard to work with

lol hard to work with is an understatement , i actually started doing graphite drawings cause i couldnt figure colors out right XD that and if i do a colored version it takes much longer cause of values and depth

All Four are very stunning pieces and I really like that you used black Paper for war, famine and death.

Thank you very much! I read that the conquest (white) horse was the only potentially good, not evil, horseman of the apocalypse. Because of this, I decided that it would be a good idea to use black paper to show the evil side of the others. Thanks for looking!
